Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to register again if I played in a league last year?
Some leagues required registration every year and some didn't. To help standardize the procedure city wide we want all players to register for the coming year. Also some leagues have grown every year and to be able to order equipment and uniforms for the new teams, they have had to get an earlier count of players for the new year. Uniforms and equipment usually take 4 to 8 weeks to arrive once they are ordered.

I did not play in the league for the area that I live in but played in another league. Do I have to switch?
No you do not. It will be your choice what league you continue to play in.

Right now we can not afford the fee. What should we do?
Contact the appropriate league contact person and they will be able to provide assistance. Your request is kept in the strictest confidence.

I am 14 and have never played organized baseball or softball before. Could I still join a league?
Yes, definitely. All teams have pre-season practice and have numerous coaches to help. The first few practices you might feel a little behind but it does not take very long and you will look like a veteran. We encourage everyone who would like to play baseball or softball to join a league and have a great time.

Last year I played on the west side but my family moved to the east side. Could I still play for my old team on the west side of town?
Yes, you are grandfathered in your 'old' league. Keep in mind the travel commitments to attend practice and games.

I have some questions about my league, how do I get them answered?
Each league have a contact person that is listed on their home page.

Is there a program for 5 and 6 year olds?
Yes we have started a T-Ball program on both the East and West side of Green Bay.
